9-10 am Tree & Turf Interactions & Common Stressors
It’s a given – trees and turf often co-exist together in the landscape. Unfortunately, due to a lack of homeowner awareness and previous misguided maintenance activities, trees and turf often suffer. The most common as well as the sometimes forgotten influencers will be highlighted, as well as steps to help turf and ornamentals recover from injury.

Insecticides are a useful tool in any management kit, but what kills pest insects can also put beneficial bugs at risk. Learn how to evaluate plant damage situations to decrease pesticide use and even encourage predatory insects and other bugs to reduce the need for chemical applications.
